Installing Atom on Ubuntu 18.04

Get the package

Get the latest deb package of Atom at:

$ wget  https://atom.io/download/deb

Install Atom Deb Package

To install the debian package:

$ [sudo] dpkg -i [atom-amd64.deb]

Start Atom

To start Atom:

$ atom
